We aim to turn a passion for sport and years of accumulated knowledge into a philosophy that helps people improve, or simply make sport part of their lives.
By offering personalized training and specialized support, Apulso combines Olympic experience with an innovative, holistic approach to sports training. We believe that together we can help every person reach their goals and push past their limits.
Talk to usApulso was born through two Olympic triathletes, João Pereira and Miguel Arraiolos. Both began their triathlon journey in 2006, joining Portugal's High Performance Centre. From that moment on, they embarked on a path of success, guided over the years by some of the country's most respected coaches, including Sérgio Santos, António Jordan, Manuel Alves, Lino Barruncho, Pedro Leitão and Paulo Antunes.
Over the years, they've shown an extraordinary ability to stay at the highest level. This sustained success comes down to their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to innovative training techniques, always in pursuit of excellence. Miguel Arraiolos has always been an athlete focused on training and process, while João Pereira took a 360º approach, considering every factor that influences performance, from rest, nutrition and sleep to the importance of having a qualified team around you.
We believe success in sport comes from constant support and a deep understanding of each person. For us, every person is unique, and training should be personalized to match. We share the view that combining adapted, individualized training is the key to achieving the best results.
